The basic functions of air handlers

An Air handler is a device that is used to circulate and regulate indoor air. This also plays a part in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning. Hence, you can say that this is the main unit that needs to be there in every unit of a house, building, mall, or any indoor area. It would be degrading if the air conditioning or the heating in your room or house is not proper. You wouldn’t want your room or house to have 2 different temperatures even though that will still differ but in a minimum amount. Hence, that is why having a good air handler is essential in every household so that you can live comfortably because some people get uncomfortable if the temperature is not set right.

The sizes can range when it comes to air handlers. You will find huge ones and small ones. Of course, this will depend on your preference and which one can work well with your home or building. Small air handlers often come with just an air filter, coil, and a blower. This means that small air handlers cannot function properly with a huge amount of air because they do not have that much capacity. Whereas, the big air handlers are capable of functioning with 100% outside air and converting it to whatever you choose. They are mostly attached to a ductwork ventilation system that is merely responsible for distributing conditioned are throughout the building.

What is the difference between air conditioners and air handlers?

There will be many who will be confused between air conditioners and air handlers. The majority will also come to think that air handlers are air conditioners but, that is not the case. The Air handler is responsible for the housing equipment to move the air through the house. This system is mostly located inside the heating and cooling operations. If the air is not being passed to the whole house then only one part of the house will remain cold or hot. This will not diffuse as much into the entire house or even room. Air handlers mainly look like a furnace and many people have seen an air handler but probably mistaken it.

On the other hand, air conditioning includes a condenser and they are kept inside homes. The activity of air condition is different from air handlers. They pull heat out of the building and then the hot air is directed outside leaving the cool air to enter your homes. Hence, in other words, the basic function of air conditioning is to just give you cold air which is also done by recirculating the same air into your room. Hence, you can say that air conditioning will be useless until or unless it is capable of supplying the air throughout the whole room. This is what we, G.I.S Inc. take care of. We are experts in getting to know about the problems that occurred in your air handlers. Hence, whenever you need help or there is something wrong with your air handler then we are always here to save the day.

High-temperature insulation, which is specifically made for extreme temperatures, has the highest capacity. It reduces thermal energy transfer from hot components, and protects surrounding parts from high temperatures. High-temperature insulation increases the life expectancy of surrounding components and reduces risks of different kinds. Machines and vehicles that use combustion engines, electric or hydrogen applications are often subject to temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius. Heat quickly escapes from the engine compartment and poses a danger to machinery and people. Conventional thermal insulation systems are not sufficient. High-temperature insulation lowers heat to a safe level. This allows for a safer start-up and a remarkable increase efficiency. It also helps to comply with strict emission guidelines. What industries can high-temperature insulations be used in? High-temperature insulations can be used where high temperatures prevail. Incorrect temperature management could pose a threat to people, machines and the economy. The consequences of a fire can be very heavy. Engine compartments contain both highly flammable and inflammable materials. A fire could result if the two substances collide. Even if there is no loss of life, it can have devastating economic consequences for the company. Companies are choosing high-quality, high-temperature insulation for fire prevention and other benefits. Modern insulation solutions can meet all these requirements and deliver the desired results. Fire protection Machines, vehicles, and systems can experience surface temperatures up to 850 degrees Celsius in their engine compartments. High temperatures can cause fires and explosions. At temperatures below 250 degrees Celsius, hydraulic oils and fuels can ignite. To ensure safety, high-temperature insulations lower the engine compartment's surface temperature to a safe 220 degrees Celsius. Soundproofing Engine noises can be very disruptive and cause long-term health problems and damage. This is why legal requirements are necessary. These requirements are becoming more stringent. These requirements are being met by sound-absorbing measures in engine compartments in addition to thermal insulation. The installation space available in vehicles and machines is very limited. Both thermal and acoustic insulation need to be installed in tight spaces while still meeting various requirements. High-temperature insulation is therefore designed to combine direct thermal insulation and the principle of sound absorption. This reduces unwanted noise but does not compromise the engine's performance or thermal properties. How are high-temperature insulations constructed? Perfect high-temperature insulation requires the right material. The outer, insulating and inner layers are usually three-layered. They protect the insulation and reduce radiant heat and hot surface temperatures. The technical specifications, legal requirements and customer preferences will all dictate the exact structure and materials that are used. How does high-temperature insulation function? High-temperature insulation reduces heat loss to a minimum. How does this work? It is very simple. The density of a body is a measure of its heat conductivity. Its performance as an insulating material is better. We at GIS insulation provide all type of insulation to industries and commercial buildings in order to fulfil their needs All of our insulation solutions are high quality and long lasting and available at affordable prices.

The use of air handling units is increasing day by day. The main purpose of this unit is to filter the air from the outside and then convert it into fresh air. The places where you will mostly see these units are larger industries or commercial buildings. It is installed on the roof or basements of the buildings. Air handling units not only convert air into fresh but also cool, heat, and even humidify it. It’s up to you what function you choose. You might think that how the air travels? With the help of ductworks and vents the air transfers into different areas of the building. Now here we will discuss some important benefits that you can avail of by using air handling unit. Comfortable environment One of the most important advantages of an air handling unit is that you can have a comfortable environment to work in. You can easily change the temperature of your workspace according to the outside condition. If the weather outside is hot you can use the cooling process and if it is cold outside then you can use the heating process. One can even control the humidity of your building. You can maximize the quality of your air with the help of air handling units. You can remove all of the harmful particles from the air that can make one ill. No growth of mold inside the building Day by day people is becoming aware of insulation. When you try out to keep them inside your building for a long time then the building can become stale. This stale air can cause a lot of problems not only to the fabric of your building but also to your staff. The stale air can cause the growth of mold. To avoid it you can change the temperature inside the building with the help of an air handling unit. Mould can cause allergic reactions to any of the staff or visitors. If you are trying to get rid form the growth of mold then this is the best option. We will discuss some of the things that you need to check before choosing an air handling unit. Check out for the location First, consider your requirements before buying it so you can choose the one that can fit properly according to the need of your building. Choose it according to your location. For a building, you have to choose different air handling units and for a factory, you have to choose differently. If you install the air handling unit of a factory into a building then you cannot avail all of its benefits. So make sure to consider all of the things to fully take advantage of an air handling unit. If you are finding an air handling unit for your building then you can rely on GIS insulation. We will give premium quality air handling units that can keep the environment of your building comfortable. We have the best manufacturers in the industry.
